On Tuesday, October 1, 2019, candidates for District Attorney and Commissioner for Somerset County attended an addiction forum hosted by We Will Recover at Somerset Area High School.
Legendary news anchor Marty Radovanic moderated and posed questions about the county’s strengths and weaknesses in treating the addiction crisis, the stigma associated with addiction, and what ways we can work together as a community to battle the crisis.
Democratic Commissioner & Candidate Pamela Tokar-Ickes, who was sworn in filling the vacancy created by the death of Commissioner John P. Vatavuk, Commissioner Candidate Dan Hillegas and current District Attorney & Candidate Lisa Lazzari-Strasiser were among those in attendance.
