The Somerset County Democratic Party held our annual Fall Dinner on October 18 at the Sipesville Fire Hall, and it was a resounding success!
Josh Shapiro, the Democratic candidate for Attorney General, joined us to discuss his vision of advocacy and transparency in the AG's office, answering questions about the protection of LGBTQ rights and drug policy and enforcement. Art Boyle, representative for Tim Mahoney, spoke about the stakes of this year's election, highlighting Rep. Mahoney's hard work in support of his constituents in the 51st district. In a major highlight of the evening, Erin McClelland's 15-year-old son, Tristan, brought the house down with a passionate speech in support of his mother, who is running for Congress in the 12th district. We had a fantastic night, and we are extremely grateful to everyone who came out to support our candidates, as well as to those who helped us put this event together.
